What we do
GTAServers.io ranks the best directories on the internet that list GTA 6 servers. We do not host servers ourselves, nor do we accept user-submitted servers. We review the directories that do - ranking them by editorial quality, search and filtering power, freshness, and community trust.
Our top three lists encompass all types of GTA 6 multiplayer: the best overall GTA 6 servers, dedicated GTA 6 RP servers, and the wider GTA 6 server list for public multiplayer servers.
Why we don't take submissions
As soon as a server directory takes submissions from users, the editorial signal dies. Server owners create listings with biased descriptions, the quality threshold drops, and the directory becomes noise instead of signal. We saw this scenario play out over and over again throughout the GTA scene - the directories which lasted (and prospered) were the ones that did the editorial work themselves.
This holds true for us as well. We will not add directories upon request. For a directory to crack our top three, it must prove that it solves a problem better than our current selections. We review quarterly.
How rankings work
For the full methodology, see our How We Rank page. Briefly: we evaluate based on five separate criteria - category coverage, discoverability, community trust, quality of submissions, and navigation - each scored on its own. These are then combined to create the editor score displayed on every card.

Not one of our top three directories pays for placement. Where any content on the site is sponsored, it will be clearly labelled as "Sponsored". Our editorial rankings are independent.
